अमेरिकी universities में admission और scholarship का रास्ता SAT स्कोर से होकर जाता है। अच्छी ख़बर: Digital SAT पुराने paper test से छोटा और आसान है — और सही plan से 8–12 हफ़्तों में शानदार स्कोर पाया जा सकता है।
Digital SAT फॉर्मेट समझें
Test अब computer पर होता है, कुल 2 घंटे 14 मिनट का। दो sections हैं: Reading & Writing और Math — हर section में 2 modules। खास बात: test adaptive है — पहले module में अच्छा किया तो दूसरा थोड़ा कठिन (और ज़्यादा scoring वाला) मिलेगा। Calculator पूरे Math section में allowed है, और हर question पर लगभग 1–1.5 मिनट मिलता है।
8–12 हफ़्ते का स्टडी प्लान
हफ़्ता 1: full diagnostic test दें — weak areas पहचानें। हफ़्ते 2–8: रोज़ 1–1.5 घंटा — एक दिन Math concepts, एक दिन Reading practice। हर हफ़्ते एक timed section ज़रूर करें। हफ़्ते 9–12: हफ़्ते में 2 full practice tests असली conditions में (timer + कोई distraction नहीं)। गलतियों का journal बनाएं — वही questions दोहराएं जो पहले गलत हुए थे।
Math Section: स्मार्ट Strategy
Digital SAT Math में algebra और data analysis का वज़न सबसे ज़्यादा है। Calculator का smart इस्तेमाल सीखें — हर सवाल हाथ से न करें। Answer choices से पीछे की ओर solve करना (plugging in) कठिन सवालों में समय बचाता है। Formula sheet test में ही मिलती है, पर आम formulas याद होने से speed बढ़ती है।
Reading & Writing: समय ही सब कुछ
हर passage छोटा है — पहले question पढ़ें, फिर passage। "Evidence" वाले सवालों में वही line चुनें जो answer को सीधे support करे। Grammar में subject-verb agreement और punctuation सबसे ज़्यादा पूछे जाते हैं। कठिन passage पर 2 मिनट से ज़्यादा न लगाएं — mark करके आगे बढ़ें, आखिर में वापस आएं।
